I had bought another dress and went to David's with two of my bridesmaids while they picked out their bridesmaid dresses. I was already having second thoughts about my first dress, but had decided to just grin and bear it. As the girls were checking out, I was leaning against the counter looking around with no real intent and saw this dress on a mannequin knew in a heartbeat that this was my dress. I went back with my best friend the next weekend to try it on and absolutely fell in love. It's elegant without being even close to over the top. I got it in champagne and ivory because the lace and light beading at the top are lovely and were really set off by the slight champagne tone of the under layer, and the bottom has a single layer of tulle so it lightened up the color of the skirt as well. This dress was comfortable and light, which was much different than the other dresses that I had tried on. They recommend the same slip for this dress that they do for fit and flare styles so I bought one but didn't end up wearing it and I still loved it.
